Riley Pruett

ASSISTANT ENGINEER

Riley Pruett, EIT, joined Adamson Engineering in 2024. Riley graduated from Texas A&M University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. His dedication and determination have propelled his training and experience in accident reconstruction.  Riley has completed his EIT and is currently working to obtain his Professional Engineering License.

INVESTIGATOR

Riley currently investigates collisions, crash scenes and vehicles and gathers evidence to aid in determining the contributing factors and/or sequence of events in traffic crashes. He has completed multiple courses qualifying him to investigate both passenger and commercial vehicle crashes, image vehicle event data recorders (EDRs), (commonly referred to as “black boxes”), and use drones to conduct aerial photography for evidence gathering.

VERSATILE

Before joining the team at Adamson Engineering, Riley gained experience in the world of manufacturing, mechanics, and outdoors. Riley has worked as a manufacturing engineer for both Kaspar Outdoors in Bryan, Texas, and Ruger Firearms in Newport, New Hampshire.  As a manufacturing engineer, Riley was able to combine his interests in engineering and the outdoors industry through the design and implementation of various manufacturing machines and processes. Riley also worked for ARCO/Murray Design-Build as a project manager intern, managing the construction process for 5 different multi-story, self-storage facilities which strengthened his skills in management, organization, and communication with numerous subcontractors throughout the projects.

RELATEABLE

Growing up in Brownwood, Texas, with a family involved in agriculture, Riley has always enjoyed solving problems with farm & ranch equipment, including trucks, tractors, skid steers, ATVs, and others. His position at Adamson Engineering allows him to use these skills and grow in the traffic reconstruction industry.
